Management and Operating Requirements

Five years minimum multi-unit restaurant operations and development experience in your location of interest.

Always deliver the Shell Shack experience through operational excellence and dedication to the Shell Shack brand.

Live within your market and have strong ties to the local community.

Ability to create and manage an organization that recruits, trains, retains and motivates people effectively.

Financial Requirements

  • Minimum liquid assets $500,000 per location
  • Minimum net worth $1,500,000 per location
  • Strong Banking Relationships or Investment Capital

Franchise Agreement Details

  • Franchise fee: $50,000 per location
  • Royalty fee: 5% of gross monthly revenue
  • Term: 10 year with 10 year option renewal
  • Two or more location commitment

THE SHELL SHACK WAY

Ideally we want to have one multi-unit franchisee active in each market and we have a strong preference to expand to cities and states adjacent to existing operations. Conversions of existing freestanding casual dining buildings usually present the best opportunities for more favorable economics, although the model has been proved in an inline end cap strip as well. Shell Shack is a dining establishment, which is also used for group meetings.
